VISUAL ART

i obviously love music. but i also find it really interesting to dive into other forms of art. it can give me inspiration or a different view on the world.
so i thought it would be nice to show you another part of myself and my art.

PAINTING

i honestly haven‘t painted much in my life. while I do enjoy it, i rather chose to study the art of painting with sounds on a canvas called DAW. i hope I can paint some more in the future though. but for now, out of the few paintings i did outside of school, this is actually my first and favorite one.

this is another one i made, inspired by a dream. i was stuck in a cage, looking at a river, each arm representing a passion of mine, but there were obstacles. the water couldn’t flow freely. all of the flowers next to it were drying out and dying. but i couldn’t escape that cage.
so i decided to paint the exact opposite. i removed the obstacles and everything came back to life. so in a way, this painting represents me trying to get rid off everything that holds me back on the inside, everything that suffocates me. i can let it go.

DIGITAL ART

while I didn‘t pick up an actual brush or pencil that often, i learned to create art on my phone with the help of Picsart (or any other app, unfortunately i’m not being paid for this… 😄). now it is not only very helpful for creating covers for my future songs and albums (that I won‘t spoil yet 👻), it has actually become one of my favorite ways to create.

PHOTOGRAPHY

photography and photo editing are probably what i love doing the most. i know a lot of people feel like you can‘t enjoy life if you keep staring at your phone or camera all the time. but for me, looking for interesting things to take pictures of, trying to find the right angle and encapturing the beauty of the moment to the best of my abilities often actually makes me enjoy it more. it feels like through the lense of a camera, my view get sharper and i notice things i might have overseen otherwise. that‘s why i always have my phone ready to go. cause you never know where the next perfect shot is waiting.

PHOTO EDITING

you already saw some of it in the last few pictures.
the first part of capturing magic with a camera lens is to take the photo. the second part is the editing. a whole canvas full of options. countless filters and tiny adjustments open up a whole new universe of possibilities.
